Australia Cup NSW Preliminary Round 6 Draw announced

Football NSW has conducted its Round 6 Australia Cup Preliminary Round draw which will feature eight huge matches as the hunt for one of the four Round of 32 spots heats up.

With several Round 5 matches still to be played, the make-up of the Round 6 draw will conclude next Wednesday.

Following the Round 6 draw, NPL NSW Men’s side Blacktown City will face Illawarra Premier League outfit Wollongong United. The IPL features some decent players and a number of former NPL NSW Men’s stars running around down South. One Wollongong United player keen to impress against his former club will be Mason Versi with the midfielder hoping to be part of a major upset against one of the fiercest NPL NSW Men’s sides.

Elsewhere, gallant Northern Suburbs FA local club have a mammoth task as they travel to Wollongong to face the Wollongong Wolves, St George City tackle fellow League One rivals Blacktown Spartans, Hakoah Sydney City East will clash with League Two outfit Sydney University SFC and finally League Three side Parramatta FC host League One club NWS Spirit FC at the iconic Melita Stadium.

Winners from Round 6 will then earn the right for a spot in Round 7 where it will be there, teams that progress, will form Football NSW’s 4 club representatives for the official Round of 32 of the Australia Cup.

The all-important Round 7 Draw will be conducted on Friday, 3rd of June at 1pm.
