Green Gully defeated Victorian State League 1 side Whittlesea United 4-0 at Green Gully Reserve.

Nathan Roberts put St George ahead on the 30th minute, converting from 12 yards which allowed the home side to take the lead into halftime before Jeremy Flanagan equalized for United.

An own goal on the 20th minute gave the hosts the lead which was swiftly followed up by two players from United being sent off in the 35th and 39th minute.

After halftime commenced Nahuel Bonada doubled Gully’s lead before Nicholas Georgopoulos and Matthew Fletcher put the game to bed and shortly after the fourth and final goal. Whittlesea United were reduced to 8 men following another red-card.
