Despite being reduced to ten men when Jesse Rigby was sent off on the 22nd minute goals from Brodie Boyce and Joshua Woolley secured Power's passage to the Final Rounds for a third time.

Power faced A-League opposition on each of their two previous Round of 32 appearances, being defeated 2-0 by Melbourne City in 2017 and 3-0 by Brisbane Roar in 2021.
