Sydney United 58 overcame a tough Northern Tigers, 2-1 to advance to the national stage at North Turramurra Recreation Area Park. 

Hamish Robert Mahon put the Tigers ahead right before the break which gave the NSW NPL 2 side a shock lead. However, four minutes later Patrick Antelmi netted for the away side to bring proceedings level.

In the dying embers of the match, Anthony Tomelic scored what would be the winner for United in the end to give the NPL NSW side a 2-1 victory away from home.
