Melbourne Victory completed a trophy treble with a 2-0 win over Perth Glory in the Westfield FFA Cup Final.

On this day in 2015: Victory clinch maiden Australia Cup

Melbourne Victory lifted its maiden Australia Cup on this day, 7 November 2015 at AAMI Park following a 2-0 win over Perth Glory.

Oliver Bozanic and Besart Berisha fired Victory into a comfortable first-half lead and from there on out it was a rather straight forward night for the hosts.

Victory started the Final the stronger of the two teams and had a goal correctly ruled off for offside.

But it did not take long for the home side to stamp their authority over the tie with two quick goals before the interval.

Besart Berisha

Bozanic pounced on the loose ball inside the box with a composed finish after some incisive wing play down Victory's right wing.

Carl Valeri then threaded an exquisite through ball for Berisha, who clinically executed a one-touch and finish into the bottom corner across a helpless Ante Covic.

Glory managed to muster a couple of late chances following a red card to Valeri for a cynical foul but nothing was going to stop Kevin Muscat's side from clinching its third piece of silverware for the year after winning the A-League double in May.
