NSW Preliminary Round 7 Draw Announced

he final stage has been set as Football NSW today announced the Australia Cup Preliminary Round 7 fixtures with the four winners advancing to the coveted Round of 32 with some cracking matches set to light up the knockout competition.

With one more Round 6 match set to be played next Tuesday 7th of June between Sydney United 58 and Hurstville FC (7:30pm), both teams will know what awaits them as a tricky away tie at Northern Tigers is at stake.

League One side St George City FA will face a tough home encounter against Illawarra Premier League outfit Wollongong Unite who were the success story in Round 6 knocking out NPL NSW Men’s powerhouse side Blacktown City.

Fireworks will certainly be on display at Bonnyrigg when the White Eagles tackle fellow League One rivals Hakoah Sydney City East while at Christie Park, League One side NWS Spirit FC host the only NPL NSW Men’s club remaining Wollongong Wolves in a juicy fixture.

The winners of these fixtures not only progress to the Round of 32 of the Australia Cup but they will also challenge for the 2022 Waratah Cup, with the 4 winners making up the semi-finals.

The Waratah Cup semi-final draw will be conduced on Friday 17th of June.

The official Australia Cup 2022 Draw for Round of 32 will take place on Wednesday 22 June.
