  • Macarthur FC’s 5-2 victory against Oakleigh Cannons FC in the 2022 Australia Cup semi finals is the third time in the history of the competition a team has scored 5+ goals in a semi final (Melbourne City FC 5-1 v Brisbane Strikers – 1 October 2019 and Sydney FC 5-1 v South Melbourne FC – 11 October 2017).
  • Macarthur FC are the seventh different A-League Men team to qualify for the final of the Australia Cup (Adelaide United, Central Coast Mariners, Melbourne City FC, Melbourne Victory, Perth Glory, Sydney FC).
